It seems I'm on a bit of a watermelon kick. This happens from time to time. I've been known to sit down with a whole watermelon and eat it entirely in that one sitting. (It's quite impressive actually). So yeah… when I crave it, I CRAVE it. Anyway, today I wanted to share this watermelon and mint juice with you. It's simple, delicious, and for the many of us out there still trying to get back into the swing of things, a great detox and energizer. Cheers!
*Tip: Slapping mint leaves between your hands releases oils, giving a stronger mint flavor.
Serving Size: 2
What You'll Need:
- 1/2 of 1 large watermelon, chopped and seeded
- 10 mint leaves
- juice of 1/2 a lime
- 1/2 cup water
- Combine all ingredients in blender and puree until it's a smooth liquid. Enjoy!
