One of my most favorite things about living in LA is how much food diversity we have here. Whatever meal your'e looking for, you'll probably be able to find it... like anything, for reals. And if there's a new food trend buzzing, there's a good chance it started here HAHA!
S.Pellegrino recently got in touch and asked me to share a local food trend from here in Los Angeles. I knew right off the bat I had to share my absolute favorite SoCal trend - AGUA FRESCA!
When I first moved here, I was so shocked at how many roadside fruit stands there were! All of them had fruit obviously, but many of them also had huge jugs filled with colorful juices... which I now know the proper name of... agua fresca. Meowwwwww.
Seriously refreshing on a hot summer day. And my favorite flavor has become cantaloupe & kiwi. The perfect amount of tangy and sweet!

This drink is sooo easy to whip up. (You guys know I'm not big on complicated recipes LOL). Grab some S.Pellegrino, melon, kiwi, a little maple syrup and you're good to go!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 1 cup S.Pellegrino
- 2 cups cantaloupe melon, cut into chunks
- 2 kiwis, skin removed
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- Add all ingredients to a blender. Puree until smooth.
- Pour juice over ice. Top with more sparkling water as desired. Enjoy immediately.
