Spicy Grapefruit Jalapeño Mocktail

Hey there, you spicy little thing you!

... I'm talking to this mocktail by the way - not you.

So I love a nice sophisticated beverage with unique flavors and delightful blends that leave you all merry and fuzzy inside. (Even the kind without booze in them). It makes me feel seasoned and smooth.

"Yes, I'll have one of those spicy grapefruit juices please. Oh, and one of your fancy appetizers, too."

Okay, getting a little carried away... It's not that big of a deal. But this mocktail really will bring out your inner goddess.

One of the things I love the most about our trips to Mexico, is getting the wide variety of juice and beverage options on EVERY menu at every restaurant.. And let me tell you - the execution is always on point.

Every time we return I get inspired to create my own yummy blends. And while this Spicy Grapefruit Jalapeño mocktail isn't rocket science, it sure is delicious. And I think you'll find it quite refreshing.

Try it out and let me know what you think! Cheers!

P.S - I won't tell if you turn it into a not so "mock"-tail ;)

1. Choose glasses with a wide mouth for this mocktail. Rub the rim with a slice of grapefruit. Spread the tajin seasoning on a small plate and dip the opening of the glasses into the seasoning to coat the rim. Set back upright. 2. Add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and 2-3 jalapeño slices to each glass. Lightly muddle the maple syrup and jalapeños together. Add one large square ice cube to each glass.3. Evenly divide the fresh grapefruit juice into the glasses. Top with sparkling water. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge/slice if desired. Enjoy!
