Sugar Cookie Fresh Fruit Tart & Life Lately
GUYS. I'm having a diary moment today.
The Sugar Cookie Tart recipe card will be at the bottom of the page if you want to skip ahead. It won't hurt my feelings. But I felt like sharing some of whats been going on lately. Just a heads up, cause it's kinda long LOL.
I haven't talked much about him on here, but yes - I did get a puppy!!
His name is Bullitt (like the Steve McQueen movie from 1968) and I am so in love with him! At first I was definitely overwhelmed. I don't have kids so I can't say for sure, but I feel like it's like having a newborn baby. At least during the first few weeks haha! It's better now though and I can finally sleep through the night again, whoop!
It's so much fun to have a buddy around all the time. And I have met so many neighbors and made friends from taking him on walks everyday and stuff. It's so fun!
I love coming home from work and just hanging in the backyard, throwing the ball around with him. It kinda makes me feel like a kid again sorta? I can't wait to have him around for summer BBQ's.
So a surfer found him and his brother in a cardboard box on the beach one morning. Obviously someone had dumped them there. WHO DOES THIS?!
Anyway, I'm sure you'll be seeing him on here every now and again ;)
OKAY - SO FINALLY. The Sugar Cookie Fresh Fruit Tart Recipe. The whole reason you're here probably! LOLOL.
I hope you enjoy it! Next time I will use a larger circle tray so that the cookie isn't as thick. But it was good non-the-less.
p.s - if you want to talk about the adventures of being a new puppy parent, please email me. I'm totally into talking about it with anyone and everyone right now :)
