What you’ll need to make breakfast quinoa

  • Quinoa: I use organic quinoa. The best price I’ve found for quinoa is at Trader Joe’s.

  • Milk: I use oat milk, but any kind of milk will work. It’s totally up to you.

  • Vanilla extract: This is going to make your quinoa nice and sweet.

  • Cinnamon: To help with sweetness.

  • Salt: Just a pinch to bring out the rest of the flavors.

  • Maple syrup: To drizzle on after cooking. You can also use agave nectar or honey.

  • Fruits and nuts: Any kind you like to use for toppings.

To batch cook or meal pep this quinoa recipe, simply double or triple to ingredients and follow the recipe as normal. The original recipe will make two servings, so adjust accordingly.

Store extra quinoa in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
