We are no doubt in the thick of fall when I’m binging out recipes like Pumpkin Hummus…

Who would have thought this combination would work!?

It absolutely does work.

I love this healthy homemade pumpkin recipe because it’s actually very subtle. It taste almost like regular hummus but with just enough pumpkin flavor to make it festive.

Above is a picture of all the ingredients used (minus some sea salt). All of the ingredients are super simple and very affordable.

Also, the recipe below will make you quite a bit of hummus. Think 7-10 servings. So if you want to half it, go for it!

I LOVE this hummus with pita bread, sweet crackers, or pretzels!

Actually making the hummus is the easiest thing ever. You literally just toss everything into your food processor and puree it until it’s smooth.

Be patient with this - it may take a few minutes to completely smooth to your liking. You may also need to stop and push the hummus down with a spatula. Totally normal.

I recently picked this food processor up off amazon and have been very happy with it!

My last one was so weak it would shake whenever I used it. LOL. So if you’re in the market for a new one, I definitely would recommend checking this one out.

If I’m making this hummus for myself, I just make a big batch and store it in my glass Tupperware in the fridge and eat it as I please.

But if I’m making it for a party or get-together, I like to serve it in a cute bowl with pita bread and/or crackers.

Another fun thin to do, is use a spoon to create little “wells” in the hummus and then fill those wells with a small amount of olive oil, and then top it with a sprinkle of cinnamon. It looks way more inviting than just a big bowl of hummus :)

I hope you enjoy this Healthy Homemade Pumpkin Hummus and if you like this recipe you should also check out this Beetroot Hummus Bruschetta which is so delicious and holiday festive!
